I love my Jeep, and it has larger than stock tires I believe. The cat back is a tad expensive, but I'll definitely think about investing in one and a header as well... I think it probably needs a tuning and could use a chip. I fill up at Costco, and it's a Jeep that's full of a bunch of trash. I don't think it can get much lighter(unless of course I cleaned my car, but that can't be more than 10 pounds).

I'd start with the intake and cat back, a header is a tougher job and I actually am not sure what years headers are available for. What mileage is on it and how many miles is it since the last tuneup?

It's about 45k, and I think it's been several 1000. I'm not even to the point of doing the next oil change though, so I dunno.

Most tune up intervals are at about 30 or 60 k.

Yeah, I'm not sure if I got it tuned at 30k but I only use two mechanics and they would know if it was tuned last time it was checked up.

Hm. My car's only at about 26k.

Say, how good is the gas consumption of your Jeep? Have you calculated it at all? I would think that they'd get pretty good mileage, but I don't really know.

My grandpa used it 6 days a week, I've been using it 6 days a week since I started working. Also add going to my old man's place and going to hang out with friends.
Yeah, I've been using it a lot more lately.

They are as aerodynamic as a brick and the 4.0 straight 6 eats gas. Also offroad tires negatively impact gas mileage because they're heavier and stickier than street tires.
