That was indeed very cute Hiroko.

That was mixed technique right? The bg in the beggining looks like charcoal or soft graphite.
I specially liked the final scene. Where they sit down. Did the teacher said anything about the other couples?

Thanks, Mirak. ^^ Yes, it's mixed media. The first background was drawn with charcoal, while the second and third (along with the characters themselves) were done in colored pencil.

No, the teacher didn't comment about the other couples in the final scene. He did comment about the scene with the background transitioning from charcoal to color--said he thought it came out perfectly. I'm not so sure about that part myself, really, since I would have liked for it to have come out a lot nicer than it ended up being, but oh well.

We can tell that Hiroko has high ideals. I don't think Soulchild had offense as his intent.

It's so god damn cute. Paper Mario as shit. FFNGHHHn *slams insulin shot into pancreas, thumps heart with fist a few times to make sure it keeps beating from the sugar overdose*

simply adorable Hiroko. Loved the choice in music and the paperdoll animation turned out real nice.

that was very cute, hiroko. i'm a massive beatles fan, so i recognised the tune immediately and i thought the different styles of media complimented eachother and worked very well.

nothing implied she thought it was a negative comment, more like she was inviting you to say something of any worth whatsoever because you very rarely do.

I didn't think it was negative. I was asking you to elaborate cuz that was seriously fucking vague. yeah, it says something about someone. but how does that apply to Hiroko, you didn't say.

Haha, thanks, BeeAre! Hope you recover from that sugar overdose. ouo

Morpheus wrote:Good job Hiroko.

Thanks, Morpheus. I'm honestly not sure how long I actually took, since much of the time was spent on me procrastinating on getting the coloring for the backgrounds done, I think. I just remember starting at least two weeks before Thanksgiving, I believe? So...I've been at it for about five or six weeks, I guess.

Thanks, Grey. I'm a bit of a Beatles fan myself, having grown up with my dad playing their music almost all the time around the house. XD Anyway, I'm glad you think so. That was my goal with using the different styles, so I'm glad to have accomplished that. :3

Can we please not continue this discussion here, Soulchild? :T

I can already see where this is going and I'd rather not have it continue any further than it already has. Take it to the PMs if you really want to or drop it altogether.
