That was indeed very cute Hiroko.

That was mixed technique right? The bg in the beggining looks like charcoal or soft graphite.
I specially liked the final scene. Where they sit down. Did the teacher said anything about the other couples?

Thanks, Mirak. ^^ Yes, it's mixed media. The first background was drawn with charcoal, while the second and third (along with the characters themselves) were done in colored pencil.

No, the teacher didn't comment about the other couples in the final scene. He did comment about the scene with the background transitioning from charcoal to color--said he thought it came out perfectly. I'm not so sure about that part myself, really, since I would have liked for it to have come out a lot nicer than it ended up being, but oh well.

that was very cute, hiroko. i'm a massive beatles fan, so i recognised the tune immediately and i thought the different styles of media complimented eachother and worked very well.nothing implied she thought it was a negative comment, more like she was inviting you to say something of any worth whatsoever because you very rarely do.

Thanks, Morpheus. I'm honestly not sure how long I actually took, since much of the time was spent on me procrastinating on getting the coloring for the backgrounds done, I think. I just remember starting at least two weeks before Thanksgiving, I believe? So...I've been at it for about five or six weeks, I guess.



Thanks, Grey. I'm a bit of a Beatles fan myself, having grown up with my dad playing their music almost all the time around the house. XD Anyway, I'm glad you think so. That was my goal with using the different styles, so I'm glad to have accomplished that. :3
