Super psyched the registration is finally open! Is this new layout here to stay? It's not bad but I liked how the old layout had icons/buttons of all the comics on the top of the layout. There's no way to incorporate that into this new layout?

Fair enough. I don't like that those comics that haven't updated in forever get so much of a spotlight in the layout either but where does this leave the comics that do update? Why was it all or nothing? I think people designing the new layout should consider doing some icons/buttons for the comics that have updated within a year and the comics that have played a big role in SNAFU's history.

I think some visible links to still-updating comics would be nice, if only to save the trouble of an extra click for users who still read those comics.

For now, though, what people can do is just hit the "Home" link right next to "Board Index," and it'll take them to this, which has the old layout and the links to all the comics on the top.

I personally feel that the design needs to be unilateral from page to page, but I also do like the forum design more than the old one. I feel like the banner could be... better though. Not sure how.

What do you think those comics would be? The ones that are a big part of SNAFU's history?

Snafu, TIN, Sugar Bits, PPGD, Grim Tales, Invader Zim, and Ever After. That's not based on personal preference either. I personally think Bunnywith is the best comic on the site, and there's other comics I really love that I didn't mention.

sorry, but I just don't see how a comic being part of the site's "history" makes it deserving of being prominent. people who know the site's history already know about those comics and new people don't really need to know that they're part of "history" since it doesn't really affect how they'll interact with the site at all.

Seems like the placement of the report button is being affected by the length of someone's post + signature, if I'm looking at it right. I don't think it's technically a bug so much as the button itself isn't locked into a permanent place?
