Meatbag is kind of a cliche insult used by robots nowadays, not really original since Bender used it before HK-47 did.

Observation: I do believe that the term meatbag has been used in many other mediums. It may just be a passing phrase instead of a direct reference.

But in all seriousness:

How do you beat someone to death with their own corpse? Doesn't 'corpse' already imply that they are dead? And beside that point, how can you hit someone with their own body if they ARE their own body?

That would be like throwing a baseball at the same exact baseball. Now, if you were to rip out her insides and strangle her with them while simultaneously bludgeoning her with her own leg, that would be a good start.

I like what he did with those words in the last panel.

I've also seen "Meatling" and "Meat Sack" used by android/gynoid/cyborgs, Bug!Edgar from MIB, Skip the Demon from Sluggy Freelance, vampires/undead, et al.

I guess this sort of answers my question from a few pages ago... when Samantha demanded that they make her "Fullmetal," it looks like they obeyed.

I know its common, but the first thing that went through my mind on it was HK-47, followed by Bender. And since Samantha was a drunk robotic bender unit, it fit more along with HK. It's most likely not a direct reference, but its still a fun reminder.


Please tell me it has nothing to do with body proportions.

I personally find the second panel from the last a complete mess.

She is sort of floating up by her ass, and one of her feet is missing.

Not to mention the 'need' for them to wear sunglasses at this point no longer applies as it does not seem very bright in here anymore. It seems rather dark and dreary as a matter of fact.

She did just headbutt her ass into the ground. So the butt would be higher in the air. As for the missing foot, it could just be pointed down or towards the viewer.

The section they are in isn't as bright anymore. Could be an effect from Samantha's cutting.
