   About Rarity, having Sweetie Belle helping out is fine, but wasn't that a bit too much? She didn't even have to carry them physically, she could have used levitation.   

Hmm.

First of all it is common knowledge that telling someone who is freaking out to not freak out will in fact freak them out more. Same goes for calm down, chill, simmer down, cool your jets and etc.

Second of all, with a texan accent: "I ain't freakin' just pointin' out how silly it is to get on somebody's case bout an opinion." O'course you can disagree but don't get all thorough by giving reasons why I'm wrong and counter points to ma' points etc. W'ain't writing no persuasive essay we merely be statin' opinions."

My text may have been written with a rough texan accent but my metaphors are not texan one bit.



Oh. Then even with my lack of freaking out I have still somewhat over reacted. Apologies all around. In fact the next round of Apologies are on me!


Anywho:

Yo couch! Not sure if you're gonna see this before going on your read-a-thon but if I said I was looking for another pony-fic that gives the tier of immersion that Fallout: Equestria gave me. What would you have to recommend?


We're talking so immersive that I will actually stand up from my chair, place my palms on my cheeks in awe and parade around the room saying "Nooooo waaaay." Also that I will make involuntarily audible gasps in a library with a very strict shush code. Both of which happened while I read FO:E, multiple times.

Hmm... While level of immersion is very much a happy marriage between the material and the tastes of the reader I do believe I can recommend something for you. First up is Eternal. I honestly can't recommend this fic enough. This fic certainly gave me that reaction. No where near as actiony as FO: E though.

If something with a little more fight to it is what you crave I also can't recommend End of Ponies enough. This one will pull you in all sorts of directions and has some of the saddest and most triumphant moments in any fic I've read to date.

They're both long fics to be sure but both are absolutely worth the read. I figured you'd be looking for something long after FO: E. If not though I can recommend some shorter things.

You're free to state your opinion all you want and I'll respect it, but you got to get use to people who disagree with you stating their own opinion to. If you say Rainbow Dash sucks (which I don't believe you really did) I'm going to say she rules. And even if you did dislike her that much I wouldn't care, I'd still think she was awesome and the world would keep turning.

Also when people start talking about torture, killing and putting bodies out for display most people tend to think they might be freaking out. But I could be wrong maybe that's just how some people unwind after a hard day at work.

Now in my own Southern accent: "I don't want this to turn into a fight now, you hear? We're all fans of the show so no bad blood."

And I was stating my opinion, not writing an essay.

True Order, the next time something like this happens, try not to spaz out so much over someone disagreeing with you. If you could do that for me, that'd be wonderful pal. If you folks want to keep talking about...whatever it is you're talking about, kick it to PM's and steer the actual conversation back to the show proper. That includes responding to this, I don't want to see any more spergin' folks.



EoP is great but it's a little slow at first. It really picks up a few chapters in so you just need to persevere to get to the really juicy bits. It'd be even better if SS&E would ever get back to writing more chapters for it though.

Tis true. Tis true. Get yourself past the first arc and you are in for such a treat.

I'm really hoping for more too Soth. With Background Pony finally done, another fic I really need to finish, he might actually get back to it.

This is arguably the sweetest scene in the show so far.



Rainbow Dash was perfect, not too mushy, not too brash, and the following scene of her carrying Scootaloo to fly was really heartwarming. Personally, I think Corey Powell has done a better job writing RD than the other writers so far. I really hope to see more from her this season.

No argument from me. That ending was the best imo. Only one other episode comes close to creating a rise in emotions which was the end to Canterlot Wedding, but not near as meaningful as Sleepless in Ponyville.

   It's possible that Rarity had Sweetie Belle "help out" as a "thank you" for taking her on the camping trip in the first place. It was made pretty obvious how much Rarity enjoys camping. Plus almost everything Rarity does is exaggerated up to eleven. One question I have is when is Scootaloo actually going to learn how to use those wings of hers?   

Oh, and someone mentioned Derpy's lack of appearances this season... maybe all of the fuss over The Last Roundup had something to do with it. On the other hand, she is a background pony most of the time, and they're starting to get so many named characters to use in the background, why use a generic, especially a controversial one? I'd expect to see her in the    upcoming Wonderbolts episode, especially if it takes place in Cloudsville.    There's only so many pegasi...
