I'm going through a nice nightmare scenario. I borrowed a camera from a friend to make my stop motion final that is due tomorrow (with battery allegedly "full"), and lo and behold, halfway through the takes BAM, battery dry. It's 3:23 am. How am i going to get the charger now? I've only got 358 frames. That isn't even half a minute at 12fps. I was supposed to do a 2 minutes animation. FML.

Anyway my stop motion animation far from looking awesome will end up looking shite. I'll pad what's missing (most of it) with digital animation, but it will look horribly messy.

I think I'm supposed to turn mine in next Friday, since I think that's the last day of school. However, at this point, I think my animation is steadily losing more and more aspects of actual stop-motion and is becoming more like a semi-animated animatic, what with all sorts of corners I've had to cut just to be able to get some stuff done within the time I've got left. :T

There should still be some stop-motion elements in it, but I doubt they'll be the main focus of the animation now (examples include shaky stop-motioned backgrounds and some blooming construction paper roses).

Huh, same as me then. Only i have to turn it in by 4pm today.

I finished the stop motion aspect, editing, sound effects, music and all. Sloppy as fuck since i ran out of time. I didn't have time to engineer my own stuff, so most sound effects are from the internet, the music is from videogames, and the voice of the character is a high pitched demoman.

Now i'm debating wether or not sleep (it's 9:15 am and i haven't slept) or make the digital part of the animation. I don't HAVE to do it, since i already covered one minute of stop motion animation which was what i was assigned with, aything else would just be extra. What do you think?

Well, I guess that depends: does the final product feel finished to you, or at the very least can pass off as finished? If not, then it might be best to keep going through it and adding the bits you feel are most important. If you think it's passable, then yeah, I'd suggest getting some rest in while you can, so that you won't be completely dead by classtime.
