while i really hope we don't have to sit through another flashback, this one kind of intrigues me

so obviously, this appears to be the machine Him used to corrupt Mimi, and i gotta admit, it made me go "daaamn" at first sight
i'm just curious as to what happened when she was corrupted so terribly that she became what she is today
then again, i'm a bit sick of flashbacks.... let's hope this is a good one

Flashbacking within a flashback... I think there is a common trend to Bledeman's comics.

Mimi looks like she was the Oracle for the superheroes. The Oracle is a Batman thing, where Barbra Gordon, known as Batgirl, was paralyzed from the waist down from getting shot by the Joker. After overcoming depression and such, she decided to help by developing one of the world's most complex and powerful computer systems. From there she gathered information and passed it along. She renamed herself "Oracle"

Indeed. I really like the symbolism in the last panel. Here, Mimi looks practically angelic, what with the floating ring above her head, and those wing like struts sprowgting out of the machines. She also looks so omnipotent, with all those screens of places all over the world.
