Back on topic, is there anyone here who's a bike enthusiast?

I want to know if there's anything special I should have in mind when choosing.

Sorry, not big on bikes. I also live on the east coast, which is just about as opposite as you can get from ANYONE on Snafu. Not that they would enjoy my company anyway.

Also, you were talking about hitting up Philadelphia, New Jersey... you know that's on the East coast, right? Thousands of miles away from your original path to Panama.

As the people in the thread have said, if you cut through into Central Canada you can meet up with a couple of people from snafu, and Mir@k near the east coast of Latin America, apparently near(ish) Panama.

But heading to New Jersey would detour you thousands of miles away from your original destination.

Not very efficient in my eyes...

But hey, if you want to forgo the trip to Panama and make it a cross coast, cross country adventure, then by all means pinball across the entire western hemisphere.

Hey, I'm actually on Google Earth Myself. Everything I've said has been with a digital atlas aide! Can't get any more accurate than what I already said.

Panama is on the other side of central america from mexico.

Yes, I know... as I said I have a giant digital atlas helping me. It's south/southeast of Costa Rica and west of South America. Along the eastern coast is where Mir@k is as well as the Canal. To my knowledge I have already said that multiple times. Did I say it was on the western coast or something? Might have to edit it if I did.

I'm not buying anything for you, i don't see how i am helping but okay. I just hope this goes from just being theoretical planning to actual traveling because i'll be fucked if everyone's making projects that we all know they'll never be lifted off the ground.

To be honest yog i don't think you should plan on going to south america yet. I'd be more happy for you if you first got to see your own country before attempting something more large-scale. I don't even quite remember if you know spanish or not.
