Hi folks! What's up? Me? I'm just procrastinating, thought I'd look at EqD, I haven't in a while because it supplies more content then I am humanly and/or draconically capable of viewing or reading at the rate which it supplies them. Also it's a constant reminder that, despite my tenacity and practice, I have yet to score a vocal role in anything, but it's a'ight I hate working under incapable directors and lord knows that statistically the majority of those peeps will give up once they glance the actual hard work part. But it's a'ight!

Unless I missed something, nobody, including EqD, has even acknowledged that creepy singing when King Sombra first attacked the mane 6 while in shroud form. If not mistaken the creepy humming occurred a few more times when king Sombra had almost broken through the shield.

I sense that the ambient humming will prove significant since I feel it may be highly related to what awoke the King and the voice of it seems so eerily familiar.

I don't know broseph, I definitely hear some graceful barely intelligible singing and next to zero traces of howling.

And I know what howling sounds like, as I've mentioned before I live in the middle of rural Illinois, coyotes and wolves are rather common. I can't go a week without hearing one howl at freakin' midnight.

That still comes off as a stylized howling like high winds to me. If anything it sounds like a more like a horn than anything else. Horn sounds like that are typically associated with cold winter weather due to things like the Swiss Alphorn and it's connection to the Alps. It makes sense since the dude is pretty much in the middle of a blizzard every time the sound comes up. Either way, it's silly to try and tell you what you think you hear but I have a feeling that it'll be highly unlikely that the noise will be significant in any way. I think you're making connections where there is none.

Matter of perspective and opinion perhaps.

Anyway, it's not like what I'm doing hasn't been done before. Television show fandoms typically theorize and over-analyze the schnitzel out of every little speck of their respective shows ( somewhat exaggerated example). Horn, howl or humming that tune was freaking haunting and I have a strong feeling it may return.

We will have to wait and see....

There's nothing wrong with postulating, if anything it keeps relevant content in the thread. Of course that also doesn't stop anyone from pointing out reasons why your theory is likely incorrect.

It is actually a reference to the show Lost believe it or not. The sound itself has no significance other than showing how King Sombra progresses from ambient smoke to capably talking body.

NSFW pony tumblrs are getting attacked repeatedly, the latest which got taken down is Molly, even though it doesn't even have any actual porn. Haters/trolls are increasingly abusing tumblr's autoban system to take down pony tumblrs that don't actually violate the ToS.

At this rate, even SFW pony blogs will be deleted.
