First off, awesome premiere. Second off they just announce that Bronycon is moving from the NY tristate area down to Baltimore. Good news it it's be a giant con center with room for like everybody. Bad news is its a fair bit farther from me than it was. It means I'm going to have to get a hotel. Mmm... Damn it, I better start saving. I really want to go...

Sombra looked cool and all that jazz... but I wish they could have done more with him. They just labeled him as a threat that must be stopped... and that's it. It was an okay episode, though. Glad to have these ponies back. c:

And that part where Spike looked into the weird 'fear' door and started crying... omg. My heart dieeed. ;-;

Yeah, it's a spoiler for the end of the episode. Just make it a link and label it as a spoiler instead.

Actually, it wasn't a spoiler, just a tiny printscreen cutted out from a whole scene in the episode. It doesn't show anything about the episode(there are other more important things that happened there to call this a spoiler) but Cadance and Shining Armor's weird eyes.

But, yeah, okay then.

Soth seems to have already established a policy about spoilers and seems to have taken the thread under his protection

Thanks for dealing with that Tuor. If I miss something or I'm not on and monitoring the thread, make sure to report anything that you feel is too spoilery so I (or another mod) can have a little red flag ready for us. That'll end up giving us a better response time as well.

Spoil Filter just in case
   So after having watched the season premiere, it is obvious people were not that impressed with King Sombra as a villain. So after doing some brainstorming and knowing that he will likely return as you can see his horn fly in the explosion from the episode, I figured that maybe he represented something kind of like Discord represents chaos. Sombra is an actual word in Spanish that means shadow or shade. Combine that with how the crystal ponies reacted when remembering him as well as the cursed door's effect on Twilight and Spike. This brings me to the conclusion that King Sombra most likely represents fear which would be fitting as a dictator-like ruler. If this is the case, I really got to give Jayson and his team props for down playing King Sombra for what will likely be a better reappearance as a much more threatening villain.
