That's actually not particularly high. Cigarette taxes in the US average about 85% if you calculate it based on a percentage of pre-tax cost rather than a fixed cost per pack.

I buy an ounce here for like $30 and it is good weed grown here. Local rastas (actual black men not mexinigritos although there are various of those too) call this special variety of mexican sativa something that in english would be like xalapa's honey-herb. Smells and tastes fucking sweet, it lasts me for like a month and a few days if i ration it at the end because when i first get the package i go Fuck Damn™ check all this good weed... So yeah an ounce is more than enough, and if there is an avaliable and constant source of resupplying then why even risk it? You don't need to keep that much herb. :O

Puerto Rico isn't actually set to become the 51st state. It was basically an opinion poll and it wasn't the clearest measure. Just because people voted that way doesn't mean they'll automatically become a state. Essentially they just officially requested to become a state. The referendum was non-binding, which means it is not a requirement that it be carried out.

On the other props, it proves our prop system is uniquely stupid amongst the states.

So many special interests trying to muscle their way into the system, and even if it wasn't from a corporation the language is convoluted and restrictive, basically meaning most props here are good ideas ruined by how they're written. Same thing with the marijuana prop we had before. It was horribly written by the people who submitted it.
