I like it... Then again, I've always been a fan of HotDiggity's work. And the ask blog is really good aside from the video series.

I'm sorry if I offended you by speaking so negatively about it. If you like it fine good for you I'm just thinking outloud whenever his work comes to mind & I feel like the crazy one because I hate 4 of the 5 episodes for a number of reasons & I find his tumblr a insult to my intelligent while 99.9% of this entire thread loves this "parody"

It's fine. Like what you like. Or the opposite. I have no issue with what your tastes are.

If you thought I did, I'm sorry.

Just saying I'm a fan.

Aside from the air date and spoilers, I'm not sure... just check the pages you missed. Plenty of stuff to see.

Max is particularly a troll at heart. Thing with the Pony.Mov series is that it was made to be a complete joke. He did not do this to spite bronies, but just has a personality for being a jokester. He never intended to make a series out of it, but with it getting a lot of positive feedback and requests for a sequel he came up with an underlying plot and a tumblr. So I am not trying to make you watch this series, but figured information is always something useful to have. As for my own viewpoint on the series, it is most definitely funny and has impressive animation from time to time. Just one of those things that you can not take seriously, but it helps to know the person who made the series as well.

I know no one is forcing me to watch the .MOV videos. The thing is I'm a aspiring critic so it's my job to watch stuff & see how it ends I can't just stop right in the middle. Yes I'll admit the animation is pretty good probably up there with Egoraptor & Happy Harry The probably is in execution. The .MOV series is to me What Michael Bay's Transformer movies are to 99.9% of the world 2 Good video (Apple & Dress) 1 really terrible video (Party) & 2 just meh videos (Shed & Magic). Yeah I probably shouldn't take it seriously but I'll stand where I stand. If you like it fine I won't argue with that But it won't stop me from being vocal with my opinion.

Was really hard to type that out XD, I really was trying to be inoffensive as possible. Fair enough in terms of it being your opinion, but I would question the critic standpoint. If it is a comedy, even critics have to lighten up. Otherwise by being too serious, they expect too much in the jokes. Best example I can give is from personal experience with the movie The Three Stooges. My expectations for the movie prior to viewing was low and became too serious. Thing is the jokes were stooge worthy and had two parts that managed to make me laugh. It was just the matter that slapstick was outdated that made the movie bad, but everything else from the actors to the writing was spot on. If I had not been so serious, I likely could have enjoyed the movie even knowing it was bad.

As well as being to serious, there are just some people who have different tastes, like what comedy should be to them. Critiquing isn't always gonna be spot on or helpful, but it's up to the critic to be as neutral as possible to give a balanced review. But still personal preferences are going to seep through and make judgements about them. When you say something's going to be bad before you even see it, of course it's going to be bad, or at least not as good. But sometimes thing surprise you. Maybe the finale will be to your liking? Who knows? Just let it be and enjoy the ride.

now here's something cute to lighten the mood and move on.

First of all this. Just this.

Fluttershy, why you so adorable.

Second of all I've been reading the next two chapters of Black Equinox, four and five to be specific. Let me say for the record J-Dude if you're reading this your writing has been getting better, so very much better. That first scene in chapter five really solidified that, and you are an absolute devil for it. I almost had to take a break after reading that scene, and it's going to take me a while to get that visual out of my head, oy. Anyway, will read more in time. Couch out!

This Comic Just Got 20% Cooler

EDIT:

Image

That clip with sure isn't bad at all. I liked the music though.
Well, it's what we would expect from Daniel Ingram. Hehe
But that dog(Zoe Trent) reminds me someone, but I can't remember who.
Don't say Twilight Sparkle, it's obvious but I am talking about other person kinda similar by the face, not the color.

A friend of mine linked that to me a couple days ago. It's really cute. Shepherd, the guy that made this and the MLP 4koma series, said it was based on this gif right here.

I don't know if you guys are following any brazilian novel, but lot of attention is getting to "Avenida Brasil".

Image

And lots of parodies with films, series and cartoons are making with the special effect on the ending of episode and soundtrack from that novel(watch in 0:09).
Exemples of parodies:
Lion King
Toy Story (Pt-Br)
Star Wars
Harry Potter

And they made with MLP, as you can see:

Pinkamena Daine Pie
Twilight and Nightmare Moon

"Yeah, yeah the cash spend you really have to do when you have a successful TV Series… In fact Hasbro Studios TV Shows has outperformed other TV Shows on the Hub by 74% rating with 4 of the Top 10 shows on the network right now. So as you look at great performance of TV Shows, you are able to produce fewer episodes in subsequent series than you need for earlier series. You know, kids love watching episodes over and over again but you have to add an element of newness but you don’t need to spend to produce entire new series again. You can add 13 episodes or a 26 episodes to a pool of 52 already produced Episodes. So therefore you are able to… with a success TV Series… produce fewer in a year. Overall, Hasbro Studios has greenlit over 800 half-hours of programming. We also still have several hundreds of half-hour programming that we are producing for the network and also looking at whether there are successful tv series we obviously then spend less per new series because we are able to produce newer shows."

I guess this is expected on a business perspective, but I still feel a bit disappointed.
