Hiding it wouldn't stop the snafu bot from posting the update threads there, but i picture it like this: New member logs in, doesn't see news forum anymore, migrates to the bleedforum to discuss the comic. That's how i picture it. The only downside i'd see about it is that other artists that do update (mosaman, and the other guy that draws that comic about things) and use the news update as their discussion thing have no forum for their comics to be discussed.

I'd vote for changing the name of everafter forum to better fit the comics that do update. After all, what little there is to discuss about everafter, which is pretty much rotten, can be done so in the bleed forum.
I still don't get why the everafter forum is still there. Digital purgatory has no choice but to stay because as far as i know Nix was one of Dave's bff's (his last post being in 2009), but why's everafter still there? We could put that place to use. :U

Luckily BR doesn't give a crap whether DP's maker is bffs with Dave or not. DP is going down. The only reason it's still there is so that BR can use it to test the new forum styles and formats once they become available. EA still has a small group of regulars who go to that forum, they discuss everything but the comics by now, but I hope we can extract them out of that forum without losing them.

Also, I would imagine that all comic discussion that is not Bleedman is supposed to go into SNAFU general discussion. Which due to lack of interest and/or updates from most of the comics is also pretty much just another offtopic forum. I don't know how many sections we want to have for separate comics. To be honest at this moment all the comics combined generate so little discussion they could all be discussed in one single forum easily. Still, since we had Bleedman separate ever since, and he's kind of the posterboy in terms of popularity online I'd say he can remain separate on the forum. As for the rest of the comics, well, I'm trying to think of reasons why they should be given their own fief here on the forum, instead of being all put into one bag.

Comics that are confirmed to be "complete" should be farthest to the right. King of FIghers being one example. Any comics on "hiatus" should follow, then the rest should be arranged in some other sort of order.

That would only make things more confusing, forcing people to look for their favourites all over the page.

There already is a system like that, on the front page, where the newest updates are on the top. It's hard not to notice that when going into the forum.

You might as well put Dave's section in that list as well. EA isn't hurting anything. You could merge EA and Snafu together and make a pop culture section. That's what is usually discussed in the two.

I don't remember ever mocking everything and I'm not mocking anything now. BR let me know how much Dave doesn't care long before I joined this site. I've emailed dave tons of times and received no replies- him not caring isn't new information to me. I just think its sad how badly its effecting everything. Theres people who are still here who DO care about this place so why not give us some control?

I don't block the ads either. But that's immaterial. Dave's words recently indicate though that I might be able to broker a deal that will revitalize the forums in a way that benefits his current endeavors without him having to give it much thought.
