Sadly it's only a fan pic, but giving the story is a pretty fucking harsh acid trip of angst and lovably flawed characters, having predator there would only serve to confuse things even more. (Like that would even be possible.) Still it would be pretty awesome, if only.

Coincidentally, the man himself that made the series went insane for a time during a four year depression he had, and he used that as inspiration for the show.

There are just so many things the creator did and thought that made the series different from any other giant robot anime out there at the time.

And he received death threats from enraged fans demanding he end the series properly. But the actual ending raised even more questions. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Besides I'm not that enthusiastic about the Re-Build series, it's got a very creepy incests-y undertone and some key characters are now getting the short stick, which sucks because focusing solely on Rei is a move straight out of the book on: "How not to do it. Chapter 4, how to make the bland one the centrer piece".

Dark Knight Rises was pretty awesome. I don't know if I can say if it was better then the Avengers though.
