Akaine is also hardly ever around, although she's a swell gal.
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

There's like, five.

I feel like part of this conversation is hinting at sex discrimination. Could just be me though.

I need to go into RP more often.
How active has it been lately?
And well, It's better we talk about it now than have it brought up later.

It's not very active, off hand I think there's like 3 or 4 active rp's

No, but I do think we're lacking female mods.
Maybe once the flood gates open back up the population will become more diverse.

I don't think having a female mod or not should be an issue at all. If a presentable person that's of the female variety presents herself, great. If not, that's fine too.

There were definitely female members considered in the latest batch of moddings.

The thing is, when new member do come on 4/5 of them go: "OMG BLEEDMAN IS SO KOOL" then they get lynched by the locals and are never heard from again.

Looks like a Predator with that redhead from Evangelion. The name doesn't come to mind now.

Yeah. Does this happen in the story or is it a fan picture?

Sadly it's only a fan pic, but giving the story is a pretty fucking harsh acid trip of angst and lovably flawed characters, having predator there would only serve to confuse things even more. (Like that would even be possible.) Still it would be pretty awesome, if only.

Coincidentally, the man himself that made the series went insane for a time during a four year depression he had, and he used that as inspiration for the show.

There are just so many things the creator did and thought that made the series different from any other giant robot anime out there at the time.

And he received death threats from enraged fans demanding he end the series properly. But the actual ending raised even more questions. And I wouldn't have it any other way.

Besides I'm not that enthusiastic about the Re-Build series, it's got a very creepy incests-y undertone and some key characters are now getting the short stick, which sucks because focusing solely on Rei is a move straight out of the book on: "How not to do it. Chapter 4, how to make the bland one the centrer piece".

Dark Knight Rises was pretty awesome. I don't know if I can say if it was better then the Avengers though.
