Um, wow. I like how they poked fun at themselves by adding "group hug" and "protest" as fighting moves. But that doesn't change how radical PETA has always been. And its hard to tell whether or not this game is supposed to be fun or is a serious protest. Either was this game is way too fucked up, Choke Collars? Tail cuts? I feel bad for the programmer who had to make this monstrosity

Oh for god's sake. When will PETA realize that this is all but a video game?! Look, in all my time playing pokemon, never have I heard in the news (or anywhere) about influenced animal abuse. Yes, people do stupid shit because they saw it in a video game (like this ->http://tinyurl.com/9t36d7z) but the fact that PETA thinks that pokemon is giving subliminal messages to hurt/abuse animals for the entertainment of others is just plain Bologna (that's right, I said it: BOLOGNA)! Maybe PETA should stop being attention whores and start doing what they do best: saving animals from... somewhere, I don't know.

Huh, the developers programmer has actually played the game. There's some minor inconsistencies, yeah, but most of the references would still fly over the head of your average soccer-mom.

I think the point they're trying to make is that this stuff is what's being done to real world animals. And then make it seem more horrendous by making the trees cry blood and the like. I actually kinda liked the guy who had pokemon skin sown into his coat - it seems grissly, but yeah, that's basically what fur coats are.

Which is not to say that I support PETA or care about animal rights, but it's not entirely dishonest in what it conveys.
