Next best pro league?

I was going to just definitively say that, but then I got thinking about the SEL and I don't know enough about the two to be sure which is better. KHL has fights though, so I'm leaning that way

Yeah, the Swede's are close with the KHL and I think the Czech extraliga or the Finnish SM-liiga is third.

I think they are really close, especially with the lockout and the NHL caliber talent flooding in to the CR. What I've seemed to have gathered the KHL is for money or playing at home for russian players, the Czechs are being flooded with their country men, Germany is getting players who want to be in a more western european country and just try to stay in shape. The two things that will always prevent russia from being the number one league in the world is that there's only a few teams that can pay at NHL levels and the 5 foreign player rule.

Ya, I think that's probably true, about the KHL. Doesn't seem like it's quite an even playing field, and I've heard horror stories about payment for North American players.
