I've tried inking before with some of the PPG fan art, if only because PPG stuff looks weird to me without the inking. Otherwise, I don't really do it much, though I probably should practice it more.

Inking, and using pens in general, is awkward for me 'cause I'm always paranoid of making a mess, especially since I'm prone to smudging at times. .x.

Ink can make your drawings stand out more.
There are some who will only sketch in ink because it forces you to make less mistakes.
Makes you better.

Ah, I see. o.o I think I'll try that, sketching with pens. Been meaning to play around a little with this calligraphy pen I have---still trying to figure out how to use it correctly, though.

Try getting a small sketchbook to draw with ink in.

When I said force it I meant that you need to go darker on you blacks.

This is a pretty huge art dump here, consisting of...I believe about four or five school years worth of art projects and/or exercises? I was considering going through and sifting through the art I liked and the art I could live without showing, but then...I dunno, I guess if I did that, then it wouldn't really be an accurate portrayal of the years that have gone by, I guess? I'm absolutely loving the 2D designs you made during your first college semester. I wouldn't mind hanging that on my walls, especially the color wheel.

I also like how you're actually putting up 4-5 years worth of art, its interesting to see your progression
