I have a classmate in my Intro to Java class who is in one of the special projects group. He introduced the class this game he made called Morbus, which requires CounterStrike Source 1.6 and Garry's Mod to play. He announced that his game was starting to get popular, mainly because of it getting some exposure via YouTube and it looked fun and awesome.

This is good news to me because not only will my Senior year in high school be fun, I also have this guy as one of my classmates as somewhat of a role model for the Java students.

Also, Valve field trip confirmed for the Java class. If I manage to get my Algebra 4 credit made up in a Zero Hour class before the second semester, I can change my schedule back and be in Game Programming again, which I'm thinking is the class where the field trip would start.

Edit: Here's Morbus. I was surprised to see it as the first result when I just searched the name alone. He also said that the game's players grew from 30 players to 500, and it made the servers lag. I wish the best of luck to him because I really wish I could play this game. It's a free mod, and like I said, it requires CS Source 1.6 and Garry's Mod.

Heck no. All the old teachers in my school don't seem to know what they're talking about anymore or they're just getting tired of their jobs. Maybe both. Majority of them have been teaching in the same school for decades, some since the establishment of the school. One teacher I had tends to pause for a bit when teaching and her eyes were baggy. She's practically live evidence of what I said in this post.

With teachers like this, I don't even know how my high school is better than the others in its district.

went on a herping trip and found 17 species, 4 of which I hadn't seen before. we also saw an endangered species of bat in an old cabin
