Jeff says that Mina was taken away from her family in one panel, and then refers to Vlad as her father in the next panel. Vlad is not Mina's father... that was a Freudian slip and Him picked up on it.

I don't think we were ever told exactly how old Mimi is, but she is old enough to have attended Megaville Elementary (according to her FB page) before it was destroyed, so she's older than 5.

Given Junior's... attraction, she's likely to be around his age (whatever that is).

In GT:FO, she looks to be 10 or 11.

10/11 seems a little too young, even for the 'target audience.' I mean if years have passed between actions and she is still so young... damn she must be like 7 in those other ones.

I'm not sure how I feel about that. Sad mostly that Him did this to a girl so young, really. He loses more and more charm as the pages come in. I always had kind of a twisted respect for his character from the start.

You understood that when I said GT:FO, I meant the current page? I totally agree that in GT:FBD and WHAM she is probably 13-14, but in FO I was thinking 10-11. In the WHAM flashback she may have been as young as 7, so yeah... whatever Him did to Mimi takes a twisted mind.

So this is what you meant in the PPGD board. I'm surprised that you, BeeAre and DMajorBoss have been this patient for so long. Serious respect for you guys.

I would have walked out much sooner if I was dealing with this bull. Shouldn't Bleed realize that you're all a team and your input is valuable or something?

Evidently he doesn't. Here's a little anecdote for you - three words Bleed tends to utter that spells impending comic disaster which have appeared at least three times now -

"It's my call."

This is when Bleed disregards all rational input from his team (the team he has because he NEEDS that input) and does something impulsive cos he thinks it's a good idea at the time. Often based on a personal obsession or proclivity of his.

He did this when introducing Red in SB, despite writing team protests. SB was ultimately doomed and is scheduled to finish soon.
He did this when starting GTFO, despite writing team protests. He went ahead with it, further disadvantaging SB and PPGD and wasting a good hiatus opportunity after WHAM ended.

And he's done it now, launching an advertising FB account (cos that's really all it will accomplish) accompanied by the terms "lewd photos" and "Pedobear Likes This". It's a violation of common sense and Mimi as a character does not deserve to be degraded this way. He's degraded her before for the kicks of morons like Jorama, but I like to pretend that didn't happen.

I spoke out against this course of action and got fired. I offered alternatives, as any editor is meant to. I got fired. He fucking LIED to me by never mentioning his intent to create an actual FB account, which could then be used to spur on the idiots who commission hentai which puts ALL the comics (and the greater rep of Snafu, Dave, Shark Robot etc.) at risk. I got fired.

So til further notice, I'll have nothing to do with Grim Tales despite my heavy involvement and elements that I added such as Mimi's family history, the 'Infusion Pit' that was mentioned here and other continuity points; points that are all still in effect right now. I'll watch and see how he deals with not having me onboard until such time as a resolution is met. Hopefully it involves shutting down the FB account and redoing this page. Cos this is unacceptable.

We, as a team (cos that's what we are despite all this), are working to resolve these issues for the greater good of the Snafu community. Remember how I said we were taking things in new directions and the forum re-vamp is all part of that? It's that kind of thing that pages (and FB accounts) like this seriously jeopardise.

Fear not, we're working to resolve things.

Some advice for you all -

Do NOT engage in any communication with this Mimi account. If you know people who have, get them to cease. This account, one way or another, is going to disappear.

We, as a writing team, do not oppose and even understand the reasons behind using FB as an advertising medium for the comics and characters therein. But the execution, which is what I opposed and was stood down for, is utterly horrible.

Again - 'lewd photos'. 'Pedobear Likes This'. What kind of message does that send?

I'm offended by how Bleed's treated Mimi, who I've got a strong vested interest in. I'm offended also that after all our work together, I'm posting in a GT thread that has the words "Pedobear Likes This" in THE FUCKING TITLE!

Perhaps one day there'll be FB profiles for certain characters. It could do wonders for someone like Ginger. But it won't be like this. Bleed will not be in charge of it. Cos once again, he's proven that any idea he has on his own can be utterly trashed by his horrendous execution.

That's why he has a writing team.

I....I'm so confused O_O I've been confused since the start of.... Is this a flashback? I don't even know how to describe it. Can someone help me understand how we moved from Grim & Mandy's castle to this? (I will admit, I do like the Dracula references since I just finished watching Dracula (1931) in my American Studies class).

As far as this page goes, I guess it's okay. I do like how Jeff was.... not so subtly hinting at Mimi's predictament.

I don't think I'll have any useful input.

I do indeed understand the need to preserve the integrity of a character that has touched us all.
In my opinion, this ,and the facebook page, could have been a lot worse.
Don't get me wrong, the FB page irks me slightly but still.

And Grids, you being fired? That’s just wrong, even for bleedman. (Not saying I know the guy.)
The only thing I can think of is that If this frees up some time for you, I would recommend doing
something personal like your art or... well... something.
