Well, its official: Tekken 6 has the most bullshit cheap final boss I've ever seen in a fighting game.

At least he doesn't revive with full health if he has a full special moves bar like Gill from Street Fighter 3. Now that was fucking annoying.

I still dunno how to feel about Shin Megami Tensei IV. Specifically that it's on the 3DS and that the gameplay looks a little too much like Etrian Odyssey. I guess Catherine re-affirmed their "no-next gen" strategy. The setting still looks cool, though, some kinda apocalyptic Tokyo, with weird digital stuff, like it ought to be. Any japanese speakers able to weigh in?

On another note, I keep hearing repeats of 'True mission of a Samurai', 'A journey you will all embark', and 'I am excited ... samurai'. Oh, and 'I am... god of Monsters'. My Japanese is extremely limited though and I could be entirely wrong.

Used to, not anymore. Now the title of the Weirdness is usually editted to have "Happy Birthday SoandSo" added
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

Well, it's TheLivingCouch's B-day. Thought I'd wish him a big one and make him a thread for the fun of it.

(not here though, it's in Spam.)

This thread moves about a page every week or 10 days
