I don't see why it should be baffling. I don't like certain people's senses of humor, but it doesn't confound me, I just accept that it is not something that I would ever laugh at.

Some people will never understand the humor of Monty Python. Some will never understand the humor behind the Encyclopedia Dramatica. That's the way things are.

And we don't really need to understand it. Incidentally, I like Holy Grail and some of ED was gold, but I have a varied sense of humor.

I've never understood The Inbetweeners humor, lotsa people like it but I never really have.

Some friends of mine like The IT Crowd. Mighty Boosh was okay and so was Darkplace.

I love IT Crowd and Mighty Boosh but The Inbetweeners just doesn't appeal to me as it's cringe comedy.

Cringe comedy is iffy. The only way it works for me is if I can pity the characters, which I didn't really do in Inbetweeners. Just couldn't connect to them.
