Wizard, just don't try and make me like NV better than 3.

It won't work.

No, Mathias. Canon-breaking DLCs with boring fetch-it quests in identical hallways for two hours is not awesome. It was trash.

I believe aliens have always been canon in the series.

It looks like someone didn't find all the alien captive recordings!

Does anyone really have the time, even if they have all the time, to find and experience all the content in both FO3 and NV?

Hehehe.

I already have.

AND I LOVE ALL OF IT.

Also, Wizard, I understand.

It's just how I feel.

There is no way you can ever know you have seen it all.

Yeah, you're probably right.

But on both of my fallout files, I had all locations and all quests completed.
In NV that required some multiple saves, but I did that branching off thing where I saved before each choice and did both.

This happened because both games were the only ones I played for about 4 years.

Then I finally deleted them off my computer.

I've explored and experienced the entirety of 3's, NV's, and Skyrim's content. Every location, quest, DLC, faction, gender, weapon, playstyle, armor, house, etc. All of it.

I would have explored more, but exploring constantly resulted in me finishing quests I was never given. By the time I was near the end of the game, there was pretty much nothing particularly interesting left to do, because I had already done most of it accidentally.

So you're saying there was nothing left to do because you had done everything? Being near the end of the game pretty much means that. In Fallout you just sort of ignore the main quest line forever.

I loved that I could add mods and potentially live as long as the modding community.

But Fallout 3 became this hulking behemoth of 60gb, so I had to delete it and NV.

Just being near the end of the game does not mean whatsoever that you have explored the entirety of th game's content. The weight of your knowledge of a game's world - the entire world - depends on how many hours you put into it, not how close you are to beating the game. For instance, all told, I've probably put in at least 1000 hours into Fallout 3/New Vegas each and around 700 into Skyrim, across many playthroughs. I don't mean to brag or anything (I have no doubt that many others have put much more time in); I merely mean to illustrate the kind of dedication you have to give a game in order to know it inside and out. No mods, though. Unfortunately, the Xbox 360 doesn't support non-sanctioned additional content, so that's that.

I recently got a new computer which is much better than my old one. I bought Fallout 3 GOTY edition from Steam, but haven't installed it yet.

Tangent: It's irritating how you cannot play the game after winning said battle. It makes sense in that they wouldn't really be able to satisfyingly conclude the game with all the endings, but still.

Wait a second.

Why did you buy Fallout 3 GOTY? Why not NV?

I know Wizard, I've probably put a couple hundred hours into New Vegas myself. Skyrim I couldn't get into, I just like the setting of Fallout much more.
