How the hell did I view this as "normal" back then...

That's exactly what I thought too.

Remember the days when shit wasn't "too dark" for kids?

Here's some childhood for you: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xN35przh8pw

Thanks, I need that. I think the closest thing to this for the past 5 years or so is Oggy and the cockroaches. Still not quite though.

And when was the last time Disney make something that actually have "dark" scene? Tarzan?

The Princess and the Frog: Voodoo Song and the Lightning Bug being stepped on (though nothing compares to Hellfire from Hunchback of Notre Dame)

The justice league cartoon had some pretty grim themes sometimes. It was a good cartoon.

Now that I think about it, it seems like every good cartoon has something "dark" or disturbing in it.

I recently came upon a new meme that arose recently and I find it both hilarious and horrifying at the same time. Here are a few examples, feel free to post any that you happen to come across.
Rocko's Modern Life
Powerpuff Girls
Bill Nye

Saw the title of this and I was like, "Ruin my childhood? Alright lets do this."
I've been watching PPG for years so I've already picked up on all of the other jokes but I still laugh when Robin says that without even missing a beat. But that part with Rocko made my jaw drop, that was funny as hell to me. Ah, the days when most cartoons still had their balls.

Doctor, don't make the mods look like ruthless beings. Very rude.

I'm only noting how pissed mods easily get when someone post in old forums. We both should stop posing here already.

So? That doesn't mean you have to make them look like tyrants. I'd be frustrated too (so would you) if someone brought up old threads. Respect the mods, dude. Don't make 'em look like assholes.
Someone lock this, please.

I'm only saying they get really mad when someone breaks the rules. They take their responsibilities very seriously. Okay, I'm done now.
