i really love the amount of blind jokes they made. it's pretty progressive to take someone's quasi (quasi in toph's case considering how she makes up for it) disability and make it a joke without demeaning the character as a person :0)

when they're in Ba Sing Se and she is puts up a poster really fast to complain about how slow the others are, and it's backwards, and she says: "it's upside-down isn't it?" in defeat. She's right that she is wrong at all but also wrong about what kind of wrong she is, at the same time. I could only nod in appreciation when I saw it the first time. A very nice joke. multiple tiers.

or lol when they're attacking the drill and go underground and sokka yells "i can't see a thing!" and toph goes "oh no what a nightmare"

fuck, man, this Fantasy World Canon is spectacular. one of the best cartoons in like. a decade. Nickelodeon really lucked out on this shit.

I had a strong feeling that Nick would pick it up for a 3rd season...they would be stupid not too...hopefully the next story arc will be much more drawn out and have a lot more character development!
