Powers : Other worldly host: It's unclear the very nature of Adam 26's powers, it's likened to magic due to he's ability to create energy from an unknown source. According to the collected database of his early training and upbringing the subject always showed a degree of imagination yet when it was discovered that his reflection appeared to be physically different.The source calls itself the 'Beyonder' claiming to be a being trapped within another dimension that seems to run parallel with dimension. At first researches were not inclined to believe Adam 26 until the Beyonder choose to reveal itself to them through the use of the host's reflection in the mirror.
Since then it's been discovered that those magically attuned claim to be able to see it's body as it's host uses it's 'gifts', according to statements it appears to be humanoid though it appears that it has no facial features save for it's blue eyes. On some occasions researchers and other field agents where able to catch brief glaces of the creature described, hovering over it's host, it's eyes seeking something unknown to us. Perhaps it looks beyond our flesh and into something more? It's unclear but those who have seen it prefer to avoid another encounter, claiming that it had sent cold chills down their spines.
Trails initially showed little variation from your standard soldier, though his reactions and hearing seemed far superior than his ilk, it became more apparent that it was not through training. Though it's noted that Adam 26 was able to call forth spectral bindings from his arms to ensnare his foes when engaged in combat, they are also used to traverse steep slopes or otherwise vertical terrain.
Overlap: The Beyonder seems to overlap into this reality, directly speaking it seems to overlap Adam 26 completely, shrouding him in what appears to be translucent robes. Hence the alias; Grey Guardian. In this state The Beyonder increases Adam 26's strength, speed, jump and reaction time making him formidable in close quarters. The robes do not offer any form of protection against standard weapons (bullet, knives and such.) yet it's proven to be resistant against magic. During this time Adam 26's eyes burn brighter even an the aura burns around his body signifying the presence of the Beyonder.
It must be noted that it seems as though use of this ability taxes his body.
History : Adam 26 is noted to be one of the select potentials for the M.R.R.U at an early age, due to the disclosure proceedings the unit were able to hospitalize him and subsequently explained to his parents that he contracted a sickness, eventually leading to his 'death'. The proceedings went as planned and the couple were left in their grief while we began to mold him.
His years at <Classified> proved fruitful, though much time was spent on training and indoctrinating Adam 26 we learned more of his powers, though not why the Beyonder choose him. This unknown factor posed a risk so we fabricated the necessity of the deception, for the good of all mankind. Though it remained weary and suspicious it choose to follow us. The Grey Guardian was attached to a recovery team, tasked with taking metahumans who proved to be too dangerous in society, with the rise of the so called super villains, we ensured that there would be an increase in loyal, obeying heroes that would be entrusted to safeguard America.
Yet in time the Beyonder somehow saw through our precautions, possibly attributed to a blunder of research team. Regardless Adam 26 learned of the sacrifice of those taken by him and his comrade, as well as the survival chances of reeducation. It seemed that the Beyonder's influence made him susceptible to corruption, to disobedience, to question his role in the protection of America.
One night he unleashed what he claimed to be 'justice', many loyal agents fell to him, thankfully we were able to contain his defection under the guise of him cracking to the constant voice of the Beyonder. Though he escaped us, we've been able to convince the public and world wide law enforcements that he is a rogue agent and must be taken in.

Appearance: Subject's hair has been neatly shaven short, barely recognizable from what he appeared five years ago, he also seems to be unshaven having noticeable stubble. Reports indicate the subject's eyes are now a glowing reddish-orange though it seems the subject is attempting hide them under sunglasses.
Subject seems to be clothed in several layers, from one photo it seems that he wears jeans, boots, white shirt, hooded vest and a long leather coat. Suspect is considered armed and dangerous.
