Name : Test Subject 47 ... Code Name 'Kelvin' Age : 22 Gender : Male
Appearance : Surf's up dude. Kelvin looks like he belongs on some beach in California with a surfboard in one hand and a blonde babe in the other. One single glance at the young man would lead anyone to think that he was just some kind of simpleminded surfer dude. He has shoulder length golden blonde hair that is slicked back perfectly to his head. Bright and beautiful looking blue eyes, a sharp and handsome looking face, firm sculpted muscles, and a rather stunning looking tan. Kelvin sports a yellow aloha shirt, leaving it unbuttoned to expose his perfect washboard abs, a simple pair of black swim trunks, and a pair of black flip-flops. He is not what you would describe as your typical brooding villain, looking more like a hooligan rather than someone you would consider as evil. As ridiculous as he may look and act sometimes though, he is a very cunning and wily person whose looks would easily lead you to believe otherwise.
Side : Villain Species : Lab Experiment
Powers : To put it into simple terms, Kelvin is the perfect heat exchanger. He is able to absorb and transfer heat perfectly through direct skin contact. This means that he is capable of drawing all of the heat out of a room simply by standing inside of it for a period of time, freeze objects solidly by touching them for a few seconds, or reversely he can melt most metals with a mere touch. All of his capabilities are still based off of simple rules of thermodynamics, meaning that energy cannot be generated or lost through his actions. He is only capable of generating heat of that magnitude when he has enough energy stored within him to do so. Generally speaking he carries with him enough energy at a given time to melt most metals for a period of roughly six seconds. Strictly speaking though, this is not the maximum capacity with which he is capable of holding in his body. It is simply that anything beyond this point will slowly 'leak' out of his body, meaning that the more energy he has within his body the less time he has to use it.
History : Born as a test tube baby, Kelvin never met his parents. He was simply one of fifty 'experimental subjects' who were so kindly donated to a lab for the sake of science. From day one of his 'conception' his very DNA was being altered by scientists. It was a complicated process, however Kelvin was lucky enough to have been one of the later numbers in the experiment. Most of the subjects did not survive the initial stages of the experiment, even more didn't make it past the second, or third stages. Kelvin, who was test subject 47 at the time had now grown into a healthy young baby boy. One of the last remaining subjects to continue on with the experiment, the scientists then raised the boy within a glass cube. They taught him everything that he needed to know, how to use his powers, calculate complex problems, solve puzzles, and absolutely nothing about the outside world.
Test subject 47 was the perfect pet for the scientists. He was patient, obedient, quick to learn, and very very observant. The scientists could probably thank the security guard named Steve for test subject 47's eventual rebellion. Steve would sometimes bring a radio with him to work as he sat by his security monitors, listening to station after station of mindless drivel. However on certain nights Steve would have his radio turned on just a bit louder than he probably should have, just loud enough to be heard within test subject 47's cube. The rest is history, Kelvin's eyes were now opened to the world outside of that tiny cube and he wasn't about to spend another single moment as their pet. He escaped, vowing to never again allow anyone to take away his freedom. From that point on Kelvin would not let a single person tell him what to do, or stop him from doing something that he wanted. It is just unfortunate that most of his knowledge about the outside world comes from tv, movies, and the radio.
