Optimistic? Hardly...
I'm just saying that I believe that it is better to suffer the horrors of the world
and survive (and grow from them) then to be hurt/die because of your sheltered ignorence of them.

Look, a little tough love is a good thing, yes. What Mimi went through so, is an entirely different ballpark. She already knew damn well more about the evils of the world than we did probably, growing up in a post-apocalyptic society. Mimi was not brought up well at all. You can say that she's better for it, yes, but when you consider the price that was paid for it. If I was tortured brutally for a couple of decades and then given laser eyes, I would still not consider that a good deal. The ends do not justify the means in this case.

And anyway, I doubt that Mimi would agree with you. I doubt that the majority of people that lived through hell would agree with you.

To sum up, being forced to go to self-defence classes, given sparse diets, not spoiling someone, is good. Cutting off their arms and torturing them until they become jaded monsters, is bad.

Not banging on anything but damn McQuinny, you have got balls of steel, I'll give you that...

They're royalty. It's not like they're being tortured or brutalised or anything...much. You know what I mean.

It is only natural to conclude that anything not in the royalty however gets lots of shite down there...

Oh lord yes. But, y'know, everything is relative. It's hard to imagine a functioning society where everyone is evil/sadistic/violent/insane. One of them, minimum.

I'm just going to quote what I said in the News Thread for this page:

I wrote:you know what irritates me the most about this page?

the censor at the bottom.

I'm not even mad at Griddles here, he can't get online on the weekends much.

Bleedman consciously decided to censor himself when in previous pages we get FUCK and BITCH nice and loud.

See, I don't care if it's censored or not, but the god damn fact that it keeps changing between the two? It looks bad. REALLY. FUCKING or maybe #@$%ING BAD.

Mimi is a feisty, cat-like, and completely uncontrollable. I think she's a perfect match to Jr.

@ MQuinny1234
Hmm, You do have a fair point of view and a good amount of wisdom.
I will contemplate what you have said but for now I will stand by my previous statement.

Guess its just a matter of perspective.
I have experienced suffering and can sympathise with Mimi.
I'm not saying my experiences are as "bad" as others but its all about how you handel it, I suppose.

(It could've been worse. Imagine if Mimi did all that without loving Nanny-Jeff. She would be way worse, she would've been posterchild of suffering)

As for the censorship. I didn't notice it until someone said something. Actually- they way I saw it is if it actually said bitch it would have been less funny.

Demon tenticle: Should've left her to that bitch!

Demon tenticle(censored): Should've left her to that b%#$!

I really don't care, though. I think Grim's gonna be saying da fook many, many times in the future. Shouldn't torture ourselves with just one of many present-but-irrelevent inconsistances.

If you think that your experiences were worth it, than fair enough.

I though, think you'd have to be one heck of an optimist to think that what Mimi went through, and probably will continue to be through, till be worth it.

Also, thank you for your civility.

Your quiet welcome but there is no need to thank me.

Like I said, I wouldn't call myself an optimist but, instead a pessimistic realist.
I'm just pointing out what Him tried to accomplish here.
Him made Mimi go through hell to turn her into the ultimate weapon.
I believe he achieved this in part.

Because of her experiences, (logically) no pain she could ever again receive would properly faze her.
I believe she will become one of the GT universe's strongest beings. Unrelenting and Apathetic.

As for how she deals with this "ability", one can only speculate.
She could rise above her past, slowly readopt her humanity and become a hero.
Or, she could be crushed under the weight of her own torment and descend into villainous madness.
