Look, a little tough love is a good thing, yes. What Mimi went through so, is an entirely different ballpark. She already knew damn well more about the evils of the world than we did probably, growing up in a post-apocalyptic society. Mimi was not brought up well at all. You can say that she's better for it, yes, but when you consider the price that was paid for it. If I was tortured brutally for a couple of decades and then given laser eyes, I would still not consider that a good deal. The ends do not justify the means in this case.

And anyway, I doubt that Mimi would agree with you. I doubt that the majority of people that lived through hell would agree with you.

To sum up, being forced to go to self-defence classes, given sparse diets, not spoiling someone, is good. Cutting off their arms and torturing them until they become jaded monsters, is bad.


They're royalty. It's not like they're being tortured or brutalised or anything...much. You know what I mean.

Guess its just a matter of perspective.
I have experienced suffering and can sympathise with Mimi.
I'm not saying my experiences are as "bad" as others but its all about how you handel it, I suppose.

Like I said, I wouldn't call myself an optimist but, instead a pessimistic realist.
I'm just pointing out what Him tried to accomplish here.
Him made Mimi go through hell to turn her into the ultimate weapon.
I believe he achieved this in part.

Because of her experiences, (logically) no pain she could ever again receive would properly faze her.
I believe she will become one of the GT universe's strongest beings. Unrelenting and Apathetic.

As for how she deals with this "ability", one can only speculate.
She could rise above her past, slowly readopt her humanity and become a hero.
Or, she could be crushed under the weight of her own torment and descend into villainous madness.
