Oh please, you'll just be a waiter/maid/whatever for now, the sirens and the rest will decide how good you are by how you deal with the people. If you've got better charisma than talent, you'll stay serving them, if you're better at singing or entertaining, up on the stage you go, if you're both than they'll give you a preferred option.

Risking extreme cheesiness, I dug up a song from a film I loved when I was but a nipper. A little villainous number called, "Evilmania." If singing did become an option, I'm semi-prepared.

I was thinking about songs more along the lines of this: "Nel Blue" Of course, getting the lyrics for that will be tricky.

Italian is beautiful. On an interesting note, marea apparently means tide in Italian.

As for the Dungeon Punk tech...Well, you know how some RPs have clashs between technology and magic?

Well, Technology lost and was assimilated. Now there is magic, and magitek. And as the tv tropes site suggests, the people of the circus tend to use the nastier kinds, of both. As for examples, well, Xenon tends to use souls like batteries when he needs a big job or immediate power source. They scream silently.

All those mechanical looking lights and lamps around the circus have sprites in them which are forced to glow constantly. At least three of the roller-coasters are mechanised dragons, now more robot than dragon. The numerous haunted houses have at least one monster, ghost or creature that's been trapped by Xenon it...To be honest, I'm making this up. Let's just say that anything that looks like technology, had at least a dash of magic in it, and that a lot of minds loath Xenon.

So Quin, how does my character use the "lighter" side of magtiek? Its been bothering me for a quite awhile.

Well, firstly he'll need to know some.

It's possible he'd know some stuff from his time as a stage magician, but nothing too near the level of a dungeon punk world.

Like those boxes that are sawn in half, the boxes that have swords run through them, admittedly those would be tricks that people would know worked but wouldn't be entirely sure why, kinda like the difference between real-life alchemy and chemistry.

Anyway, the whole light or dark side of magiteck really just depends on how you use it or what you know. It's not really that biased either war, magiteck is much less corrupting or purifying, it really depends simply on who uses it.

But yeah, you need to actually learn this stuff.

Ah excellent, I was hoping it would be this case. And I plan to Quin, oh I plan to. There is much, I want William to create and to do.

Sorry, MQuinny, I'm going to have to withdraw for now. I intend to potentially bring Remy back in if possible but I've been inactive in this and it wouldn't be fair to keep my sign up in this for the time being. I do look forward to potentially coming back, though.

Well...More than I expected actually. Fine, say one or two more people are winning, I'll just screw casuality and move you all to...Actually, where does everyone want to go? I imagine one or two want to deal with the housing, and a few more to deal with just getting to performing.

Well for the moment I just need characters to interact with since my character is reactive rather than proactive due to his curse. It's why I haven't really posted. My guy can't simply wander about and look for people to talk to.

Still here. I can make a post anytime, just occasionally need some prodding to get underway.
This seems to be that really awkward moment most RPs have where everyone's scattered and have to somehow lump together and cause character interaction, which the housing arrangements could possibly fix

Hmm...so apparently the whole eating thing wasn't a great social opportunity. Right.

Also I am here, going to edit that post of mine.

Through why don't you divide the group, Quin. One for the housing and One for the performance, I mean not everyone is going to perform after all.

Still here. I think, if I must be honest, I'd like to get to some action, i.e. the performances, unless you want to get the call on everyone's housing requirements put away first.
