As for the Dungeon Punk tech...Well, you know how some RPs have clashs between technology and magic?

Well, Technology lost and was assimilated. Now there is magic, and magitek. And as the tv tropes site suggests, the people of the circus tend to use the nastier kinds, of both. As for examples, well, Xenon tends to use souls like batteries when he needs a big job or immediate power source. They scream silently.

All those mechanical looking lights and lamps around the circus have sprites in them which are forced to glow constantly. At least three of the roller-coasters are mechanised dragons, now more robot than dragon. The numerous haunted houses have at least one monster, ghost or creature that's been trapped by Xenon it...To be honest, I'm making this up. Let's just say that anything that looks like technology, had at least a dash of magic in it, and that a lot of minds loath Xenon.

Like in all rpgs I play, it involved rpg npc gods and my character finding ways to defeat them. In this case, this *William is a circus leader forming a resistance group to kill off the evil overlords and looking for items to do so and Abe is a shape shifter thief who is currently caught in William's investigation. See apparently, right off the bat my guess about the Empty Church was correct and it was a source of great power. So the scene depicted there is William and Abe exploring the foreboding Empty Church looking for power.

* Also to add that William is also from our world in the 1980's, he was a CIA agent and made a deal with the devil to save the world. See the deal was to play his game and in this role, he played as a circus leader.


Hmmm, my guy is righteous, but more so a schemer and a plotter. So it should be fun. Edit: Also I tend to view the circus as more as a prison.

We would prefer it if you didn't blow up the tent or kill people, from a financial viewpoint.

When people start dying, the rest leave and then we lose their money and good business.

Have our characters performed yet, or will this be the first time?

Not all of you will be performing obviously, some of you will simply be doing jobs. Maybe working in the little cafes/brothels, waiting for your rota in one of the big tops, selling food, etc, etc. In fact, I should probably let only a couple of you actually do anything this time round. Then a few others next time round, or just let you set up small stalls and tricks before letting you into the big top.

MM@Going over the top...well, that's not really feasible relatively speaking.

Quin even if its just a small stall or just walking around the circus doing small performances, its always possible to go over the top like Criss Angel or David Blaine. Then again, I do have plans with that scientist of yours.

Don't get me wrong, you could saw someone in half and just leave them like that without any physical repercussions from the circus but don't expect not to make up the losses.
