What RP is she talking about?

As for the Dungeon Punk tech...Well, you know how some RPs have clashs between technology and magic?

Well, Technology lost and was assimilated. Now there is magic, and magitek. And as the tv tropes site suggests, the people of the circus tend to use the nastier kinds, of both. As for examples, well, Xenon tends to use souls like batteries when he needs a big job or immediate power source. They scream silently.

All those mechanical looking lights and lamps around the circus have sprites in them which are forced to glow constantly. At least three of the roller-coasters are mechanised dragons, now more robot than dragon. The numerous haunted houses have at least one monster, ghost or creature that's been trapped by Xenon it...To be honest, I'm making this up. Let's just say that anything that looks like technology, had at least a dash of magic in it, and that a lot of minds loath Xenon.

It's a good thing none of us new employees are particularly righteous ourselves, or one of us might take offense to this man's actions. Michael at least is literally the personification of true neutral though.

If you're noticeably righteous, you shouldn't be here.

Like really, get the hell out, for your own good.

Like in all rpgs I play, it involved rpg npc gods and my character finding ways to defeat them. In this case, this *William is a circus leader forming a resistance group to kill off the evil overlords and looking for items to do so and Abe is a shape shifter thief who is currently caught in William's investigation. See apparently, right off the bat my guess about the Empty Church was correct and it was a source of great power. So the scene depicted there is William and Abe exploring the foreboding Empty Church looking for power.

* Also to add that William is also from our world in the 1980's, he was a CIA agent and made a deal with the devil to save the world. See the deal was to play his game and in this role, he played as a circus leader.

Hmmm, my guy is righteous, but more so a schemer and a plotter. So it should be fun. Edit: Also I tend to view the circus as more as a prison.

*Kicks thread*

Hmm...Right, you people have till the weekend before I simply cheat and time-skip towards your performances. You've had your intros anyway.

So how crazy can the performances be, Quin? Like on a scale between 1 and 10.

We would prefer it if you didn't blow up the tent or kill people, from a financial viewpoint.

When people start dying, the rest leave and then we lose their money and good business.

We can live with mutilations.

Also, happy birthday Dee.

Happy Birthday to Dee as well.

So what you're telling is go over the top, just not destructive. Well if that is the case then there is no problem at all.

Have our characters performed yet, or will this be the first time?

Not all of you will be performing obviously, some of you will simply be doing jobs. Maybe working in the little cafes/brothels, waiting for your rota in one of the big tops, selling food, etc, etc. In fact, I should probably let only a couple of you actually do anything this time round. Then a few others next time round, or just let you set up small stalls and tricks before letting you into the big top.

MM@Going over the top...well, that's not really feasible relatively speaking.

Quin even if its just a small stall or just walking around the circus doing small performances, its always possible to go over the top like Criss Angel or David Blaine. Then again, I do have plans with that scientist of yours.

Fine MM, but any destruction or mutilation is coming out of your pay.

Also, I'd forgotten about the clowns.

Quin, I didn't make William a destroyer. He's an entertainer, and its something I've been looking forward to play as.

How many of your characters would you say weren't made as destroyers yet still have the ability to level a small town?

You see my point here then.

Don't get me wrong, you could saw someone in half and just leave them like that without any physical repercussions from the circus but don't expect not to make up the losses.

Oh no, I know your point and you're right to make it. I'm just saying, I don't plan to do anything destructive like that unless you give the materials and the reason to do so.

VIRGINS THE LOT OF YOU.

But not for long, at the next update, some of you will be in the big tops to perform, you may be in different ones from others, you may be in the same one and right after them.

The rest of you may be doing jobs like entertaining the crowds, guard duty, working in the cafes, restaurants, "entertainment" houses.

That okay?
