I made this thread to combat the number of stickies. These threads are important, but don't have frequent posts, they're more lists and tips than anything. You can revive and add to these threads (listed below) even if you're not the original author.

How do I post my art?
If you're super-new to the world of art and the internet, check out this thread. It has everything you need to know about art, the internet, forums, and you.

Post your ART!
If you only have one or two pieces and don't want to maintain a thread, or if you just don't want to make an art thread for some other reason, you can post your art in the appropriately titled 'Post your Art' thraed!
If you have an art thread, you can also post your art here if you want some extra exposure

Post art that is NOT YOURS
If you want to post something in this forum that you have NOT created, this is the only place you're allowed to do it. In this thread you can post ar that you've found elsewhere to share, admire and discuss. PLEASE CREDIT the art to the original artist, and if you can link to the original site, that would be awesome too.

Requests and Recruitment
If you have something you would like drawn, or are looking for an artist to work on a project with you, post your requests in this thread.

Avatars, Wallpapers and Signatures
If you have made an avatar, wallpaper and signature, please post them in this thread. You may also request to have images made into avatars, wallpapers and signatures in this thread.

Contests
This thread lists the rules for creating a contests within Snafu, as well as current contests and their respective threads.

Art Tutorials
Have a question about drawing or colouring? Why not check out this list of tutorials! If you find a tutorial that you found particularly helpful, post it there and I'll add it to the list. Also, if you didn't find the help you wanted, and have a specific question, you can ask it there.

Advanced Critique
Snafu Art as a whole is considered a "crit-friendly" zone, but if you really want to improve and you want a really thorough crit, you can post it in the Advanced Critique thread!

Hi! I got lost on the forums and can't find the intro thread.

But I also need help in art stuff. For example, I don't know where to start.

There is no intro thread.
And in order to get an answer, you must first ask a question.

The only way to start is to giv'er I'm afraid. Choose something you want to draw, see it in your mind, and then pick up a pencil and draw it. From THEN you can tell where you're strengths and weaknesses are and you can ask ways to improve.

Also, as Acktoo said, there is no intro thread, but if you care to post one please do it in Bleedman or Snafu. Thanks and welcome to the forums

That's the problem with worshipping the god of schemes. You never quite know whether or not you're being divinely blessed, screwed over royally, or both at the same time.

How modified are they? If you just changed the colours or something I wouldn't be too welcoming of it, but if you actually did major work and changed the structure of the sprite, that would be ok.
