So I went to visit the Doctor Who Experience for the first time on the last day (before it moves from London to Cardiff) - typical I should leave it till the very last day to go there.

That was more amazing than I expected it to be. I'm so glad I went. The interactive walk-through was excellent, particularly the Daleks and the 3D part. That was quality 3D, I've never seen 3D done that well before.

I wish they'd played up the Weeping Angel part of the walk-through a bit more, that could have been terrifying as shit - but I guess they didn't want to traumatise the little kids too much.

I also made a Dalek voice say 'Give me a hug', 'Would you care for some tea?' and 'I love Doctor Who'- and I heard someone else making the Dalek voice sing Happy Birthday to someone, which made my day.

All in all, that was money well spent.

I'd kill to see a Doctor Who attraction like that. Angels that were live actors - Yes.

It's kind of annoying I didn't get to go to the Doctor Who Experience in earlier months - they had people dressed up as the Silence standing in the crowds.

Which also, since they haven't been culled, must have some potential use in the general Dalek's view, which is bad.
