I like this question, if it was asked for the reason I think it was.

Do not get me wrong, I would fight for somebody I care about as well. The difference however is I like to be tactical about how I handle the situation. So gathering what we know with Mandy being superior to Jr. even with Nergal powers physically and mentally. Emotionally could be questionable as he does feel strongly to defend Mimi, but Mandy's wrath could be equivalent if not greater. So being outmatched, the logical response is to aid in Mimi's escape even with odd's against him. Straight up fight he will most likely lose.

I still think people are overestimating Mandy and/or underestimating Jr. Yes, Mandy is a good fighter herself, but Jr's been training his nergal powers and we don't know how powerful he's become. If this does spiral into a fight between Jr. and Mandy this may be the fight that Mandy may not be able to win. Not to mention that they are both immortal, so it'll come down to who can KO the other first and Mandy is still technically human which means she still has a human pain threshold.
