Looks legit. I hope they bring back the survival horror aspect.

I hope it's good. Since RE4 was the last good one.

5 isn't bad, it's just an enhanced re-release of 4, basically.

I picked up RE5 for 5 bucks; the game was certainly worth what I paid for it but its overall presentation made me feel that I would'nt drop more than $20 for the next release in the series unless they seriously up their game.

Oh I enjoyed Re5 thoroughly, especially the multiplayer was a lot of fun. But it wasn't scary, I never had a lack of any ammo or items. I missed that feeling of going "Oh fuck I missed! OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FUCK OH FU-"

Resident Evil hasn't been scary since the very first installment.

CODE:Veronica made me jump at some points, 2 had those moments as well. but yeah, it hasn't been scary since Outbreak. 3.5 looked promising but it was scrapped. If anybody has not seen the 3.5 game play preview I suggest go look it up.

I stand firm by my point that no game in the series has been scary since the primary. Especially not Outbreak. And the only time I was really scared in the first one was when the Cerberi jumped through the windows in that hallway.

I heard that it's supposed to get back to it's horror-esque roots in this installment, as well as Revelations on the 3DS.

Actually, that's a lie. Dead Aim is pretty freaky.

Try Dead Space 2 on Zealot difficulty. While I've beat the campaign so many times that its become a weekly ritual, there are many moments where you have zero ammo and are confronted by hoards of ravenous space zombies.

And if you want your stress levels to go skyrocketing up, play it on Hard Core.

Also, RE6 actually looks like it might instill that insane little fear of going, "OH MY GOD, HOLY SHIT, RUN!", which most survival horror games have been lacking for a while.

Just to let you guys know, this is NOT a direct sequel to RE5. This takes place 10 years after the Raccoon City incident, with RE5 taking place 11 years after. Either way, it's good to see Leon again, who now reminds me of DMC4 Dante.

I also forgot to say, CRAPCOM is still SHIT.

For those of you that don't believe this is not a direct sequel should read these:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Resident_evil_5

I forgot to post info.

Considering Leon was the original design for Dante.

RE4 and RE5 are the worst games in the RE series, they better make RE6 good or that least make it worth playing.
