Because she felt like calling it so?

Anywho, "kidnapping". I am booth excited and fearful of this.

Hi guys! So sorry I've been away for too long... current workload is never ending! Luckily, I managed to do a quick sketch :) Enjoy!

THE POP PRINCESS
This was thought up when my husband suddenly declared that the show is funny, and he would like to purchase the whole DVD set when it comes out. I thought I walked into the wrong house.

Meh, probably they won't sell the DVDs here where I live(The Season 1 in Portuguese is stuck in Episode 14 yet) but fortunately I have all episodes downloaded. :P

Very cute the sketch. Sweetie Belle older is very similar to Rarity. I wonder how Rarity will look like now older than Sweetie Belle.
And in colors it became 21% cooler.

Grivous.

Thanks guys!

It's been a while :) The good news is I haven't been locked up and tear gassed over the past months. A project I have been involved in is now in its final stages, hopefully it will be out very soon for public viewing (you can check out some of the production art here... those were not painted by me though).

You can check up more of my updated fan art stuffs here

This looks much better than your last drawing of him.
Good to have you back Mim.

Oh, hey there, sexy.

Thanks everyone! :)

I do miss drawing... I frequently wish I could allocate some time to do them for fun, and actually COMPLETE it.

But on a side note, some projects that I have worked on snagged first place in a couple of competitions just recently.

The first one is ORIGANIMALS (by Giggle Garage) for the DigiCon6 competition, which allows the company I work for to compete with other entries from all over Asia in Japan. I was a storyboard artist and assistant director for this one.

The second one is RIMBA RACER by Glue Studios. Interestingly, it ties on first place with the beautiful Sunsastera for the IPCC Super Pitch this year (which is a first time for such an event)! I had the pleasure of working alongside the wonderful talents involved in this project as the character designer and storyboard artist during the early stage of the project :) Do feast your eyes on their full sizzle trailer here (but those who are prone to epilepsy, please take precaution).

Glad to hear that everything is well with you. I ended up moving to the midwest for my next step in education and I'll be living here for a while.

Hello and Happy 2013, everyone! How are you all doing? Nothing new to add, but only a recent one in my main DA. I had been a little busy these days churning out storyboards, but hopefully I won't be doing it alone soon - the studio was scouting for an assistant, and the good news is we've finally found 'the one'.

Another reason why it's great to have an addition to team was due to my wrist injury, so I had to lay off my drawing hand for a while (doc advised me to either change my occupation, or change the way I draw). I am learning to draw with my other hand instead. Here's hoping I'll become a true ambidexter in 2013!

I hope for that as well, Meme. It's fun to be ambidextrous :3 And glad to hear you've been having progress. Have you met this assistant already?

Thanks, Sefrol! :D It's very humbling to start from scratch again, but I am going to do a compilation of my day-to-day progress with my other hand anyway for motivation.

Yes, I've met the guy :) I was one of the few who conducted the interview to gauge his reaction to a few things. He passed the questions and tests (he has the right attitude about it too), and he definitely has potential! Can't wait to welcome him to the family!
