okay it's been like six days since the last post

how has everyones week been?

i went to a party on guy fawkes' night and got hit in the stomach and neck with a little firework thing and i almost hit my friend with a roman candle

i was sleep-deprived and drunk, but fuck it i paid for most of the fireworks i'll be damned if anyone else is gonna light them

hence: slight burns

Ok so I've been telling everyone that Skyrim is a crock of shit and is the same thing Bethesda has been making since the days of being a Doom mod so I went and got Dark Souls for my RPG fix. I didn't know that being a masochist felt so good!

I've been feeling pretty depressed lately and I don't know why. I am thinking of talking to the psychiatrist on board, but being mentally unstable is seen as something bad enough to get you kicked out of the Navy. Can't have crazy people on board the ship in the middle of the ocean and stuff like that. I'm going back home on leave for Thanksgiving soon, I hope some time off will make me feel better. Also, I've been talking to myself a lot lately, to the point where even I find it creepy. I don't know where that came from but it's very unsettling.

Any ways, I've been hoarding a lot of comic book lately, trying to prepare myself for the coming deployment. Anyone have any recommendations? I'm up for anything that's original and simple I don't care if it's for little kids. Lately I've been reading the Wizard of OZ series being published by Marvel and Chew. I'm all over the place and I don't know where to go from here.

Stress is a frequent issue with military life. See a civilian therapist over the military variety. They tend to be far more strict about confidentiality. Military therapists have a brick of exceptions that can bite you in the ass. If your in the DC area I could probably get you a referral. Talking to yourself isn't that bad, but if you start having lost time, hallucinations and other things that might be indicative of a dissociative disorder, then you should talk to a therapist military or not and maybe go on light medication regiment.
