Re: Grivous' Gallery - ("One rose to a Rose..." from T. O.)

Postby True Order » Mon Oct 31, 2011 1:18 pm

I'm surprised it took me this long to figure this out, but I just noticed that flash near her haunch. It means that her cutie mark just appeared right? So by receiving a rose it caused her to realize how beautiful and passionate roses are/can be. Thus Rose's love of roses was born and her cutie mark symbolizes that.
That's really brilliant, I like that very much!

Also, a little question for anyone: This can be seen as a comic?

Well, I'm definitely the wrong person to guess this. But I would guess no because there's only one picture right? But it might be considered a comic since there are words. I don't what is considered a standard Comic on DA so I definitely don't know for sure. Sorry I can't give you a better answer.

Part of me is second guessing myself and is claiming that I misinterpreted your question. I'm not sure what to make of that claim.

Hm. It's because while I was painting it in Photoshop, I was looking how it was going and it looks like a comic for me. So I don't know(when I finish it) if I should put "COMIC" or "ART" in the email when I send the final result to EqD.

It's better I send with both of titles and let Sethisto decide it.

Thanks anyway, True Order. ;)

Also: It's getting be-eautiful.

I'd consider it a comic. Comic pages don't have to be more than one panel.

Remember that magical rose from Beauty and the Beast(Disney)? Remember how beautiful the rose was?

Mine rose is exactly like that. 8)

Grivous... I can't help but notice that it's on Deviant Art already. But I know you want to present it, so I'll sort of wait to comment......

If you want to look at the pic, you can look it.

But I think it would be really better if you look at it here.

Thanks, everyone! :D

Update: My sketch it's almost ready.

My mission now is to reach the people from this flag.

For that, I need a little help: Someone here(in addition to sinistra-sundown[didn't seem him a while] and Rival[I'm kinda embarrassed to ask to him :P]) unsterstand German? I don't know if what I wrote in my sketch is 100% correct...

Hallo, Leute!
(Hello, people!)

Hier ist mein neue Skizze! Es ist noch nicht fertig, aber wird es sein!
(Here it is my new sketch! It's not finish yet but it will!)

=> Des Vinyls Überraschung
(The Vinyl's Surprise)

Auf Wiedersehen!
(See y'all later!)

P.S: My German is still a beginner, so who knows German better than me will probably find some errors in it. :P

Update:

Can you find out where this scene is from?

Mysterious Scene

P.S: Ganon is prohibited of posting from where this scene is.

Why? Because he knows where this scene is from. ;)

So he won't post ANY hint until I finish it.

^Those are both really cool and well done drawings.

Though I'm curious about why you wish to appeal to the germans, I see it how it can appeal to them but I am just curious as to why.

Grivous wrote:Can you find out where this scene is from?

I don't know if ya want me to guess....The fact that you hinted that Ganon knows, narrows the possibilities quite a fair amount.(Or does it?)

Either way, I can tell that there's gonna be some Trix in this pic.

Sinistra-sundown said one time that he hated the german dub of the MLP show. Applejack hadn't her accent and Rainbow Dash's voice was too "girly" for her(I hope the same don't happens in Portuguese in November 21 :x).
And I always wanted to do an sketch of Vinyl with Octavia as friends.
So I found a good scene to make this tribute to the german people(trying to use my actual german), to Octavia and Vinyl and, as a bonus, to my father because he loves Bert Kaempfert. His musics are really good, the inspiration came with this one: Medley - Bert Kaempfert. He's amazing.
And I am thinking in an another scene with Octavia. I will work on it later.

Update:

Goddangit Griveous... I still don't get what the hell that's from but now that I see more details I am SO FREAKING CURIOUS. Everything I guess is still probably wrong, I am not sure if that's Luna or not and what the hell is that thing she's holding? Is it a photo?! What about that object makes her so sad?! Why do I have the horrible feeling that she is going to kill herself?!

Oxênte, calm down, boy. o.O

I can not say where this scene is from until I finish it(probably tomorrow, I am going to take a bath now). When I finish, I can think if I say or not. :D

True Order wrote:I am not sure if that's Luna or not...

Definitely is not Luna.
True Order wrote:... and what the hell is that thing she's holding? Is it a photo?! What about that object makes her so sad?!

1- She isn't holding it, she is levitating it.
2- It is a photo.
3- It is a special photo.
True Order wrote:Why do I have the horrible feeling that she is going to kill herself?!

Now, now. Take it easy. She definitely won't kill herself. This isn't a Great and Powerful Trixie way.
