Hey guys. Now, I love poems, not only that but I'm actually a poetic rapper. I'll start putting my poems in this topic. If you like, you can post your own poems as you please. Now, here's my poem.

Devious Sins

The world's full of haters, Satanists, and unforgivable demons,
It's like joining classes, but you’re the slave and you get no opinions.
People fight cause they have no decision, only the will of the wicked,
They are the puppets of a mastermind with the thoughts of the unholy sickened.
Massacres happen cause that's the motive of their maniacal kind,
Don't believe me? Just look what happened at Columbine.
Devious sins, that's what everyone's doing nowadays,
It's their everyday motive, like injecting needles cause that's what they craze.
It's pathetic, but there is no stopping this pandemic of death and insanity,
Please understand that there's no escape, like the days of slavery,
Fuck everyone, cause now it's only survival of the fittest,
Hurry, for the devilish have come and are ready to slay you by inches.

Hmmm... nice job. You did repeat some words, some of the lines didn't make sense, but other than that: 3.5/5!

I prefer to study in the classical school myself, where rap and such is anathema to most. Also, I have a feeling this thread is gonna get RoflStomped by the Spam section vets.

Yay! I didn't expect getting anything higher than 2 thought. I don't have any experience in this field whatsoever (well besides having to learn *insert a rough word describing my hatred to having to learn them* long poems by hearth), so thanks a lot

We all make choices, we all make decisions,
From you joining a cult or forming your own religion.
Create words that can cause utter depression,
To persuade people to do stupid shit, like political assassination.
We live in a world that's full of ignorant bastards,
Thinking they're the best for killing their masters.
To all its nothing but the land of the poor including the slaves,
The only way to be free is digging up your family's graves.
So look at life until it's greatest ambition,
Just don't fuck it up with a racist situation.
Like stealing the Mona Lisa you’re a shadowy thief,
Cause were all innocent victims of an unforgettable grief.

I would argue that poetry isn't something you do and not do. It's more of something you are or are not. But then we're talking semantics and philosophy, which I'm sure isn't a discussion anyone wants to have in a thread dedicated to poetic rapping right?.

Hmmm true, but this is poetry. Poetry can come in any ways, from rapping to long rhymes to a haiku. Poetry is infinite.
