I do...although it's fairly barren, since it's for watching other people. I've had other accounts, but abandoned them in the same manner that I abandoned traditional media. Cue tears.

Also, Mimi...if MLP looked like that for reals...I might actually watch it!

XD thanks, everyone!

@Soth
I'm surprised/impressed you dug that up :D what a beauty! I actually thought of the pegasus in God of War. Must've unintentionally gotten that embedded in my mind.

@Hana
I think The Last Unicorn has beaten me to it XD

No dumps for now, and I am going to be MIA for the next two weeks. I will try to drop in once in a while when I can get any internet connection. Until then, have a good one everybody!

Mimeme's Art Dumps (minor note)

Postby Mimeme » Wed Sep 28, 2011 11:59 am

Hi all! It's barely been two weeks since I started my new job. It's alright so far, and sometimes a little intimidating (I've always been comfortable being on the side as the storyboard artist, never fully taking on the horse by the reigns because of the crazy responsibilities it comes with. This is why I never envy Directors or ADs). It also gives me a perfect excuse to start learning mandarin. Most of all, I hope I can still find some time to do minor sketches to spam here.

Until then, have a good one :)

Don't trust so much in Google Translator. Believe me.
It don't translate 100% correctly.

Also: Congratulations, Mimeme! Good luck and keep going.

@Hana
*Hug* Thank you :D I definitely need more oil in this rusty gear

@Pwned
:b I doubt I've been missed that much, knowing how this site is constantly busy. But thanks :)

@Soth
She's been rather sickly for a while now, but she's getting better :) thanks for asking

@Grivous
Thank you! I'm still trying to get used to it, seeing that it's a whole different genre of what I'm used to work with. Will definitely keep going and prove my worth :)

@Alopunk
*Hugs!* Nice to see you too!

It is somewhat challenging, as I've been left with 3 different tasks to complete within 2 weeks in my superiors' absence (they're in Cannes at the moment, promoting the studio's IP). Most days, I feel like I need to split myself into 2...

ALSO,
A little bit of announcement: The animated series I was involved in before this was nominated for an Emmy award (Children & young people category), woohoo! Dang, I miss those crazy days... (Link to TV series' facebook page)

Hope I'll get to post my sketches next time! Hugs for you all :)

Don't know what everyone else was thinking while you were away, but I sure missed you XD

You even came back almost right after I mentioned you as an awesome new person in the talk thread...

I think I attained summoning powers.

Older and Wiser

Postby Mimeme » Sun Oct 09, 2011 11:48 pm

My little one is recovering well :) It puts me in a better mood, and my groove is gradually returning. Also, I just saw Dib in Grim Tales' latest page, so I couldn't resist:

Maybe I'll do a better one much later.

Dib~

I prefer your Dib over the Gim Tales one, Mim. He looks so much cooler. c:
