Im not sure if this is the right place or I should make a seperate thread, but the Andrew Loomis series of drawing books is available online now. They've been out of print for like 15 or 20 years and his family (he died some time ago) has refused to re-publish them.

This is a must, I REPEAT A MUST HAVE, for any aspiring artist. All the books are available for download on this link, get them now because I doubt this link will be up indefinately.

i can do pretty good creepy smiles, usually i have a norm smile, ya know like teeth clenched going from cheek to cheak, then i jerk the cheek parts of the smile up to the ear. there we go, creepy psycko smile. its what i did on my avatar if ya didnt understand me

yeah, but im talkin about a little girl who never smiles, has been tramatized, forced to view the horrendous death of her parents thus scarred for her entire life to never smile again. And to never fear again either....but at the same time as being nearly emotionless she is horrifyingly creepy, having no concience therefore never feeling guilt or remorse--in other words, one fucked up, creepy little girl.

could i get some help or a tutorial for Photoshop CS2? ive finished an ink drawing of my comic cover but i just can seem to figure out how to use Photoshop properly. if your wondering what comic its about, its a fanfic based comic off of Bleedmans Grim Tales. im trying to do his art justice by properly rendering the images ive created since its supposed to be a continuation of his comic, taking place right after Ch. 3.

Awesome the Tutorials really helped.

I'm not sure if anyone else has asked this, but I always wanted to do pixel art and I just can't seem to find a good enough tutorial. I wanted to make one that moves ^-^;. Any suggestions?

Then some questions,
After being an "Untalented Spectator" for so long i am just curious about drawing,..However i met some issues (when it comes to Pencil stuff)

Most of the characters i have in mind are abnormal by anatomical definition and wear masks/helmets/or have stranges faces or a plain and simple faceless....so:

Is there a tutorial about faces (non anime preferred, but if theres no other... ) mostly because my weirdos will eventually interact with normal people.

Also, as i never draw sh*t before, a tutorial about angles would be nice (i can draw my stuff from the front, or the side, but nothing about angles)

What program/tool was used to make it?

A friend told me it was done with flash and hand drawing ( ???)

Any help on this....and a tutorial about it, would be appreciated.

There's a face section around the middle in this.

Unless you know the source of that image (animation or gif would be a better word), you can't know how it was made. Several, dozen programs exist that allows you to make short, repeating animated images like that, and nothing about the style it is drawn in reveals a program either.

I've never managed to find a good angle tutorial thing myself. You're probably either going to buy a big book about it (I just did) or learn it by doing (and referencing from real life).
