So... This is just for fun, right? There's no prizes, it will be just the audience seeing the big team being slaughtered by the small team and everyone laughing at them?

One time when I was high, I thought I was in an ambulance dying. Turns out I was just eating sherbert.

If lots of you are getting it, I should probably start adding people... Could use some partners.

Up to 15 tickets here. It helps to own most of the games?

How do you get tickets? I don't get it
"Suddenly Frodo noticed that a strange-looking weather-beaten man, sitting in the shadows near the wall, was also listening intently to the hobbit-talk. He had a tall tankard in front of him, and was smoking a long-stemmed pipe curiously carved. His legs were stretched out before him, showing high boots of supple leather that fitted him well, but had seen much wear and were now caked with mud. A travel-stained cloak of heavy dark-green cloth was drawn close about him, and in spite of the heat of the room he wore a hood that overshadowed his face; but the gleam of his eyes could be seen as he watched the hobbits."

You get a list of "achievements". Every time you do one, you get a ticket.
Achievs include getting set on fire and jumping into water on TF2, taking a snapshot and posting it for the public, recommending a game, commenting on a friend's profile and playing a demo.

DLC for games, and your total amount of tickets you've earned so far go for entry to a contest to win the top 10 games in your Wishlist. 100 people can win it. Some of the DLC you can get normally by buying it, other DLC is limited edition stuff like the Gold Ship for Beat Hazard, the Goo Goggles for Portal 2 co-op, and the Berserker suit for A.R.E.S.

So I started playing TF2 again because a friend wanted me to play it with him.
How exactly do you get crafting materials? Or other weapons besides the original achievement to unlock three

There are random weapon drops now

Anyone seen this new Steam Trading Beta?

http://www.teamfortress.com/?tab=blog
No longer will folks have to do it manually over forums, it seems. They've added a system for trading games for items.
