Well, to keep it relevant, today we killed the 2nd replacement of Osama. We're on al Qaeda's ass it seems.

Aparently Bin Laden kept really good records, and didn't practice reasonable data management in case he died. So a lot of number 2s are likely to meet a predator drone in the morning.

They're done. They've lost their popular support. They've lost their leadership. They've lost a huge contributor. Osama was beyond the on-paper leader of al Qaeda, he was a driving force. And there's certain symbolism in his death.

I think that's honestly hurrah optimism. They've taken a big blow, no doubt, but they're far from done.

They are not out, but without leadership and easy money they will likely degenerate into the rabble that they once were. Occasional small scale bombings and fighting but their capability for large scale action has been largely crippled.

They'll probably never have the capability to attack the US and big organized attacks like the Mumbai and London bombings will be especially difficult.

I'm sure most people have already put the pieces of the puzzle together but- I'm osama's replacement. I couldn't make my snafu debut until he was out of the picture.
