So, I want to get me some Terraria and grab it on Steam. But then I saw the 4-pack and thought I might as well grab it. I'm taking one of course, another is going to Asmodai (for the awesome sig). So I have 2 Terraria's to give away. Must have Steam to get em of course, but the first 2 people to post in here with their Steam sigs will get the others.

Edit - No copies left, lets discuss game now

THANK YOU REMNI!

You need to put "FREE STUFF HERE YO!" in the thread title, otherwise people wont come (which is a shame, because it's a fun game)

Also, does this mean I get a second copy? Since I'm the first to post? :D

I'd be interested if there is still a copy.

Steam Id should be: 491Guiltyspark
Don't ask why I made that name... Cause I still don't know myself.

It's seems a lot like a 2D minecraft, which isn't a bad thing. Though it also seems a bit more action oriented. Any other differences?

It's far more action oriented than Minecraft, and I think there are more item types overall in Terraria as well. I'm still figuring out how to get more people. Or rather figuring out how to build my house properly first.

The guide... helps.

Not really.

Also on the multiplayer thing, me and Nobody have been doing the same thing.
For whoever hosts, the other players is always 2% done with loading, even if he did already load.
Would love to hear if someone has a solution for this.

We cant even get the host to work, it says to open up a new instance of the game and connect to your IP. But it never connects!

Sounds like the same issue Brink is having. I think they're working on a patch for those issues right now though, cause I've seen a lot of stuff about the issues on the Steam forums.

Let's take into consideration that Minecraft isn't finished yet. Only by November and they've been adding a lot of stuff on the last patches.

Also, a friend of mine is hosting a server for anyone that wants to try the game without buying it.

You know, I was gonna point out that I was pretty sure that linking to pirated software isn't allowed here. But I just read the rules, and it doesn't say anything about that. So color me enlightened

Anyway, click that link, play the game, love the game, buy the game to support the developers!

Is your character added to the steam cloud? I.e if I start the game up at school now, will I still have my own character?

If pirated software wasn't allowed, a couple of thread from this section would have been locked a long time ago.
One I made included.

Spent most of the day playing it. It definitely have appeal. It have much more of an RPG feel, in a rather Harvest Moon like way, than minecraft because there's more tiers and variety of equipment and there's no durability so a better piece is a permanent upgrade.

I hate those damn jellies, they keep jumping in and pounding like I'm their bitch when I'm digging.

vegedus, I think. I forget if steam id is some secret thing or just your name.

With my meteorite armor, the jellies are more of a nuisance than any actual threat. Big nuisance, though.

Imps on the other hand...

Anyone still playing this? I'm sick of single player. Need a co-op partner.

I started a new character when the content patch with the Wall of Flesh and shit dropped. Lost interest before I even reached any of the new end game content.

I haven't played this in a while but I've been getting a slight itch to play it.
