Please tell me I'm not the only one playing this masterpiece of a game. This game is giving me OCD for the simple reason that I want to question every suspect correctly. And the whole face motion thing they've been showcasing really really works and it looks brilliant in action. I'm only about 5 cases in, out of the 21 total. The pacing is pretty good, your first few cases are rather quick for tutorial's sake. The flashbacks are pretty good too.

I hope other people are getting to try this.

I keep forgetting to explore street crimes and look for extra things because of the story cases... Got to homicide in one night. Only gotten two questions wrong so far. Mainly because I think I would have evidence to pin a lie, then Cole changes the subject and uses the material different from what I expected.

How are you enjoying the facial animation system?

Pretty accurate and detailed. But without making them seem horribly ugly or looking just completely wrong. I like it.

I want to play the game because I love detective stories. Maltese Falcon is one of my favs. But I'm currently working through a video game backlog and it'll be a month or 2 till I get around to it.

I've been wanting to play this game since I first saw the trailer, it looks pretty sweet. Having seen some of the gameplay on youtube has only made me want to play it more.

I'm only up to case 7 I believe now. And this game will give you OCD if you dont have it already. I hate getting questions wrong and end up having to redo one scene 2-3 times to get it right. The game itself is supposed to run between 20-30 hrs long.

I'm not even bothering to collect all the clues or ask all the right questions, it seems that no matter what you get the person.

The game looks absolutely stunning and does an amazing job avoiding the uncanny valley, minus all the women looking the same. I just wish they used the physics engine from GTA4/RDR, it's annoying to shoot someone in the leg and not act injured.

I really hope the game ends with Phelps    putting a bullet in the back of the head of that vice cop.

I'm at the Black Dahlia-like murder thing now. It's actually the only part of the game that shows any form of nudity, with the woman who got killed being completely naked.

I wonder if they added the -e to the end to make it a pun? (La Noire.)

Noir(e) are both forms of the word, but ya, it may have been a deliberate choice. Certainly add a level of "Dun dun DUNNN"

In English, the masculine form is used over the feminine form. It must have been a conscious choice, or perhaps one of ignorance.

I think it wound being a typo thinking it was La Noire and not L.A. Noire.

I think I prefer the name the way it is though. It just seems to fit better than Noir.

After getting through the Vice cases and a couple in Arson... Hoping the same thing.
