There was AN earthquake. There was even a volcano that went active and started spewing ash. Also, I think some people died in the Middle East somewhere (specifically, I mean; I think there was a bombing somewhere, or an attack on rebels or something, I just can't remember where; I want to say Syria for some reason....).

before you try to sound nonchalantly intelligent I had already discussed that

and yeah he said it was his fault that he interpreted it from a factual and not a spiritual sense

instead the world will just end on October 21, all in one day, instead of the apocalypse happening from May 21st to October 21st. It was a spiritual judgment that we had. How nice.

It only pains me to see how stupid some people are to easily let their hearts be manipulated by this false prophet.

Make that people in general. It's all a great pain. People are too suckered in to drama, they feed off of it as if it were emotional cocaine. Most things said can be taken at different context, and at least one person is going to be offended for it, but rather than manning up they would rather create a big deal out of it. Inb4 "I'm doing this right now"

But meh, if people are going to off themselves for believing "the end is nigh" then so be it. It'll be the same with 2012, a rise in suicide rates will happen.
