Video games is a form of art, I guess.

The thing I'm focusing on actually in this is the list of video games available to play.

I'm happy Halo 2 is on there. I've played that game more than any other Halo game trying to find the skulls as well as doing glitches; getting out of maps made me hunger for more. Metroid Prime 2 is a rather wise choice for the Prime saga. It's a shame that WoW is available for short play.

Speaking of games as art: It's official.

The name of "Art of videogames" actually doesn't imply games are art, just that they contain it (which is a fact, since they contain moth music and visual art). I think they named it so to stave of any controversy.

They are, they didn't need to be recognized as art any more than any form of theater needed to be recognized as art. That being said some people have a narrow definition of art, but if your definition includes movies, music and theater as art forms the video games fall under the exact same realm.

I prefer this definition
"The use of skill and imagination in the creation of aesthetic objects, environments, or experiences that can be shared with others."
And video games fall under aesthetic objects, environments and experiences.
