Oh, so Ginger's not completely a darksider yet. That's nice, but she HAS waited until Bo's on her last leg as far as her life goes, and Hansel is down an arm and an eye. That is a sheepish crook he's using to block Mindsnare's attack.

David beat Goliath because the big galut forgot his helmet. That's lesson number one: Don't forget your bucket. No good Mandalorian would.

I read somewhere the main reason Excalibur was so much stronger than other swords was that it was one-piece forged. The name refers to the mold used to shape it. Other medieval swords only had a little stub below the crosspiece, and that was wrapped in leather, so not as strong even if you did not consider Excalibur's enchantments.

Bo's crook may not be Excalibur nor Caliburn, but it is the best Hansel could get. It certainly is no Needle, but I would question Hansel's ability to wield a greatsword like Ice if he got one, so I'm glad he was given something more his size for one-handed use.

That all holds truth but it's not how great the weapon is that wins fights, it's the skill of the warrior that decides battles. Weaponry helps yes, but someone who's never seen a gun in their life is going to lose against a sword master. But from the next pages tell me, it's mainly the wolf's strength and speed despite his size that are giving him an effective advantage over Hansel.
